Network

The Network section in Orbit serves as a central portal for users to explore and connect with their company’s collaborators, advisor network, and board network.

By accessing this section, users can gain valuable insights into their professional ecosystem and build stronger connections.

Once you click on Network, you’ll have access to these resources.This guide provides an overview of the features and functionalities available in this section.

Collaborators overview

Collaborators

The Collaborators Page offers a detailed list of all active collaborators within the BII network.

On the left-hand side, users can apply filters—such as verticals, Collaborator Focus and Geographical relevance.

By selecting a specific collaborator, users can access detailed information of the company and their area of expertise. Additionally, users can directly contact the company via email.

Leave Endorsement

Within Orbit, users can publicly show support for a collaborator by leaving an endorsement. To do this, click the "Leave Endorsement" button on the collaborator’s page.

You can write a message of up to 250 characters, which will include your name alongside the endorsement.

Before the endorsement appears on the collaborator's page, it will be reviewed and approved by the Collaborator Network Coordinator.

Admin Interface - Network

These features are available only to the following roles: Collaborator Network Coordinator. To access the admin interface click on your profile image and select "Admin" from the dropdown menu. In the left-side menu, select “Collaborator”.

In this section, you can add a new collaborator and view detailed information about existing collaborators, including their service domain, onboarding status, and pinned status.

By clicking the triple-dot icon next to a specific collaborator, you can:

  • View collaborator information
  • Edit collaborator information
  • Delete the collaborator

Create Collaborator

To create a new collaborator, click the "Create Collaborator" button located at the top-right corner. You will be prompted to provide essential details about the collaborator.

Publishing and deleting an endorsement

On the same interface, after selecting "Endorsements", you can view both pending and approved endorsements.

To publish an endorsement, toggle the switch to the right.

To delete an endorsement, click on the three-dot icon next to it and select "Delete".

Advisor network & Board network

The Advisor Network Page and Board Network Page provide a comprehensive directory of individuals within the BII network.

Filters on the left-hand side allow users to refine the list based on criteria such as their relationship with BII (e.g., fundraising experience or BII alumni), verticals, interests, and areas of expertise.

By selecting a specific individual, users can view detailed information about them and contact them directly via email. However, before engaging with the network, please review our guidelines.

Admin Interface - Network

These features are available only to the following roles: Advisor Network Coordinator and Board Network Coordinator.

To access the admin interface click on your profile image and select "Admin" from the dropdown menu. In the left-side menu, select the type of network you want to manage depending on your role.

By clicking the triple-dot icon next to a specific advisor/board candidate, you can:

  • View advisor/board candidate information
  • Edit advisor/board candidate information
  • Delete the advisor/board candidate
